Sunday, January 1st, the Vikings host da Bears, beat ‘em for the pride of it all, also Vikes’ Koren Robinson and Sharper were named to compete at the Pro Bowl, awesome – job well done! . . . Congrats on the Minnesota Twins finally acquiring a real player, second baseman - Luis Castillo who batted .301 last year for the Florida Marlins . . . Have you seen, “King Kong” yet, I have. 1st weekend’s gross was 50 million plus, it appears many other Kong lovers have seen it as well. If you haven’t, you don’t know what you’re missing! . . . Quest nightclub closed in December, two people were shot Dec. 4th after a concert, yikes! . . . Brian Warner aka Marilyn Manson tied the knot last month in Ireland to Heather Sweet, a burlesque dancer, aka Dita Von Teese. Elton John and David Furnish tied the “civil partnership” knot sealed with a kiss in England as well, meanwhile Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her first child due in June ‘06, Congrats! On the other hand, Weezer’s lead singer, Rivers Cuomo remains celibate going on now two years plus, I guess that’s what happens when you’re an English literature major at Harvard University. Bummer! . . . Watch out Beatles, who have 20 #1s, 2006 could be brutal as the puttang beats down the moptops . . . January 1, ’06 marks the end of an era, as the Blainbrook Entertainment Center no longer offers live entertainment in the Emporium . . .
