Congrats to Grammy Award recipients, Dan Wilson for his co-author participation in “Not Ready to Make Nice” with the Dixie Chicks, Bob Dylan won in two categories as well as Jonny Lang.  Unfortunately, neither appeared on the show.  However, we did SEE Prince, even though he was a little late and came up “short” on his nominations.  Gotta love him though –he’s suddenly everywhere you look.  Now if only local radio would pick up on a new Twin Cities artist, we might even be considered a major music market worth reckoning with.  It’s just too damn bad that you have to be recognized outside the Twin Cities first before you command the respect out of the local airwaves, that is really f*cked up and a cryin’ shame!  . . .
