Highlights
last month included a 5-guitar army of Austin Healy alumni for AH’s final
chord performing “Freebird,” a signature cover song for the band’s 25-year
career as the local legend called it quits in a farewell concert at the Medina!
. . . Also, Britney Spears gave birth to her second child.
. . . Congrats go out to a
couple of buds, Scarlet Haze - nominated for “Hard Rock Artist/Group” as
well as “Hard Rock Recording” for “Out of the Dark” and Skywynd, who
were also nominated for “Hard Rock Artist/Group.”
Also, good luck to Leni and Sandy in the The Bad Animals, as they
received a nomination for “Cover/Tribute Band.”
The Awards show is Sunday,
October 1st at First Ave. . .
. Bob Seger, Jonny Lang, and Black Label Society put out new discs last month,
so far critics give them the thumbs up, you be the judge! . . .
